GST increased from 18% to 25%

The government of Pakistan vide SRO 297(1)/2023 dated 8 Mar 2023 has enhanced the rate of GST from 18% to 25% for all CKD vehicles with engine capacity of 1400cc and above, under Sales Tax Act 1990. At the same time, PKR/USD parity has further worsened due to ongoing Rupee devaluation.
